Curious George is one of the simply shows I approve of for my toddler. I detect that so many children's shows are hypnotizing and feature slow imagery and lifeless stories merely plenty of squeaky voices and magical events. Curious George is a cracking show because the protagonist lives a regular life and learns important and applicable life lessons. For example, George might exist tapping trees to become syrup, or building a squirrel house with caulking and insulation, or audio-proofing a chicken coop, or learning about washing hands to rid himself of germs, or creating a sand painting, or draining a pool. The stories are not too fantastical (bated from the fact that he's a monkey) and the music is not blaring and intrusive. Overall, cracking evidence for a immature child, with plenty of day-to-day life lessons. Likewise, far easier to sympathise than something more than advanced like the 90's version of the magical school bus. Overall, highly recommend.

I'll only lay it correct out there...
Curious George is the all-time idiot box show for children (of whatever age).
It was the first show my daughter (virtually to plough two) ever responded to, and it has held her attending and Imagineer since. The twist is, it's done the same for me.
From the commencement episode, information technology's fantastic. Each episode comes with 2 stories, normally alternating between the state and the city. The offset story is an heady take a chance with George getting stuck on a delinquent kite. It's very much in the spirit of the original books, simply much more skillful spirited than the original stories. The 2nd (and what sold me) had George investigating scratched restaurant booths to clear the proper name of his cat friend Gnocchi. Somehow the show effectively teaches forensics to preschoolers!
The prove delves into educational content more than seamlessly then I've ever seen. It covers STEM subjects, social interactions, friendship, personal responsibleness, and simply rejoices in, well, curiosity.
If I keep going I might as well publish a book about how neat this show is, so I'll sum it up with "that'southward your reward: you'll never be bored if yous ask yourself, 'what is this?' like Curious George."

There are lots of episodes in the flavour (much more than in subsequent seasons) and my four yr old Curious George fanatic is loving this DVD. In that location are not besides many ads to fast forward through, so your preschoolers can get right to George. I like the light math and science theme. For example, in an episode about donuts, George and watchers learn how adding 0 onto a number changes the value. The episodes here describe George as curious and ever with the best of intentions -- not quite equally mischievous as in some of the books. My iv year old laughs out loud at this prove all the time, which is simply so sweetness. The episodes hither announced in the same 22 minute format (ii back to dorsum stories) as they practice on TV.

I LOVE Curious George. It is pretty much the only show my children watch. It is sweet and innocent -- no rudeness, bad attitudes or weird stuff as with many modernistic cartoons. Amazon -- WHY DO I Suddenly have to pay 1.99 per 20 minute episode when it has been free for the last two years? I am very disappointed. Delight change it back to free with prime number membership. Thank you!

Best kids evidence out there, flow, for younger kids. Not only is it sweet, fun, and educational, but is completely non-annoying, different any of the other immature children's shows I've tried with my 14 month old. I'thou sure it's considering of the amazing phonation talents of Frank Welker and Jeff Bennett, and the writers, who avert cloying lines and delivery.
On the other hand, I'thousand devastated. Hulu just negotiated an exclusive deal with the distributors of the show for current and future seasons, and idiot box specials, etc. I looked it up when I couldn't find it on Prime and Netflix. Not like I'm going to get another subscription service which is substandard when I already have 2. I guess we'll have to endeavour to get the all-time deals we can for them on DVD, since I don't think they're available on BluRay. Oh, I'm just ill.

░░░░░A FUN ENTERTAINING SWEET SHOW░░░░░
Curious George is obviously a classic. This upwards to engagement adaptation of the archetype stories is very well done. It preserves the original theme and tone of the former Curious George books while modernizing information technology for today's kids.
George is a lot smarter than a real monkey, only it'due south a cartoon. The character is essentially a very simplified child. He presents emotions and thoughts in a very child like way that a immature audience can chronicle to. In most episodes at that place is a lesson to be learned about following directions and not getting into trouble. That's always a welcome theme in my house.
All in all information technology'south a bully show. I feel safe watching it with my immature kids without any fears that they will sneak in themes that are besides grown upwardly or overly violent.

My 4-year-sometime daughter has been in dear with Curious George since she was two. We watch this bear witness over and over. Truth be told, my married woman and I like it almost as much every bit our daughter does. It's one of the few animated shows out there in which the viewer is not beingness constantly bombarded with screaming characters and loud sound effects. George is much more than low-cardinal.
It'south also a pretty educational bear witness. Many a time my married woman have pointed out a existent-life occurrence and said something to the outcome of, "Hey, this is merely similar that time that George had to go to the blobbity-bloo."*
We used to just stream the testify (from a popular streaming service which rhymes with "become sticks"), but they recently lost their licensing agreement. Since she loves the show so much, we decided to buy the DVD's. Simply it seems like in that location are only a few seasons available on DVD at the time of this review. I was able to find seasons one, half-dozen, 7, and viii only. We resorted to purchasing the others digitally (via a service that rhymes with "my spoons"). Non certain why some seasons are bachelor on DVD and not the others.
Anyway, at their low prices, yous can be pretty certain that your kids (or you, I suppose) will get your money'southward worth out of these discs.
*(The episode where he goes to the blobbity-bloo is a archetype.)

My daughter LOVES George. She volition watch every episode and gets up and acts out what the show is teaching. She loves the intro song and learns concepts like numbers, shapes, colors, emotions, cause and effect, vocabulary/communication, and diverse life lessons. She's only two and she quotes the show all the time! She likes to "swing like a monkey" and acts similar she'southward George and "teaches" mommy what she's learned. She'll get excited and say "We need to help him" when George is in a bind and overall it's a dandy testify that's not abrasive the same way equally a lot of kid shows are. No annoying loftier pitch blabber that gets repeated over and over and over and it'southward also not slow and boring. It'south fun and interactive and a cracking bear witness for kids of all ages.
